PAVE, CTA, and the Alliance for Automotive Innovation are holding an inaugural AV Leadership Academy from February – April 2026. The program will provide public sector staff with up-to-date insights on autonomous vehicle technology, as well as opportunities to connect and network with top industry leaders.
PAVE will be convening a panel discussion at the AAMVA Workshop & Law Institute this March in Louisville, KY. This unique event provides AAMVA members with an intimate and collaborative environment to network and learn from fellow motor vehicle and law enforcement colleagues across North America. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and meet directly with jurisdictions, as well as industry organizations that provide the products and services you need.
Accessibility is often cited as a key benefit of automated vehicles and emerging mobility technologies, but designing vehicles for wheelchair users is complex. The SAE CivicProgress Challenge was created to help address this gap by empowering college students to develop innovative, real-world solutions for accessible mobility. Established in collaboration with General Motors, the program challenges students to tackle accessibility barriers while gaining hands-on engineering and design experience. The Summit will begin at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 24 with an opening plenary, state meetings, and an evening reception. On Wednesday, March 25, participants will take part in Lobby Day to meet with their representatives in Congress. We’ll celebrate with an evening reception on Capitol Hill. Conference plenaries and sessions will resume on the morning of Thursday, March 26, with mobile workshops, breakout sessions, and inspiring plenary speakers.
