About
Markus Lienkamp set up the ADAS strategy 20 years ago at Volkswagen. He participated in the grand challenges of autonomous driving in 2005, 2007 and 2021. He initiated the Open Source project EDGAR and is heading the autonomous racing team of TUM.
PAVE: How does your work align with our mission to educate the public on AV technology and its promise?
Our mission is to advance AV development with PhD and Master students. We educate people and bring our knowledge with our open source strategy to the public.
PAVE: What are the current barriers you see in public acceptance of automated vehicles?
The technology has to get robust, reliable and trustable.
