Kristie Chin, PhD is the Director of Civic Innovation at the University of Texas at Austin Center for Transportation Research. As part of an interdisciplinary team, Chin launched and leads the Texas Innovation Alliance — a network of local, regional, and state agencies as well as research institutions who are advancing mobility and innovation for communities throughout Texas. She also supports the Texas Technology Task Force, a strategic advisory group that makes recommendations to TxDOT on emerging technologies and assesses their roles in future transportation systems.
