PAVE Europe is committed to its mission to educating the public on autonomous vehicle technology. Knowledge is curated and shared through our working groups, regular webinars, projects, and our resource library.
Working Groups
The working groups at PAVE Europe are designed for our members to collaborate as coalitions in developing the key educational messages for different target groups and communities.
Understanding, Trust and Acceptance
How do we holistically educate the public about AVs; show the benefits; a realistic picture of the status quo, current industry insights, eliminate misunderstandings and ultimately reduce distrust in this technology?
Who is responsible if there is a collision involving a vehicle driven by an AI? A new kind of support system is needed for autonomous vehicles; one balancing risk attribution along supplier lines and ensuring complexity doesn’t cause chaos.
We envisage a future where the public embraces AVs as a tool for sustainable and equitable mobility, where a fruitful environment empowers technology to tackle the complexities of our world. What challenges are there, who are the target groups, and how will we address them?
While passenger transport captures the spotlight in autonomous vehicle discussions, their potential extends far beyond this. What are the diverse applications of AVs in goods transportation, and what are the societal and economic implications?
