PAVE leads events with public sector partners to help foster collaboration with the private sector and provide information on the industry and the state of AV technology.
In June 2025, PAVE hosted a lunch briefing on autonomous vehicles for Capitol Hill legislators and staff. The event, which was cohosted by the Alliance for Automotive Innovation and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, featured leaders from industry, government, nonprofits, and academia discussing AV basics, regulation, economic impacts, and national security.
Thought leaders from PAVE member organizations spoke at the event, including passenger vehicle developers, autonomous truck companies, national security experts, public transit representatives, and more. Attendees were able to ask questions and network with industry leaders.
