In April 2025, PAVE partnered with the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LADOTD) and Stantec to hold the first-ever CAV Innovation Day in Baton Rouge, LA. The event was held on DOTD’s campus, featuring a full lineup of programming, 16 exhibitors, and autonomous vehicle demonstrations from Waymo, Kodiak, and more.
The day kicked off with opening remarks from LaDOTD Secretary Joe Donahue Jr., followed by a fireside chat with LaDOTD’s ITS Director, Josh Harrouch. Subsequent programming covered topics including economic development, infrastructure, and AV freight. Over 300 attendees joined us, including state lawmakers, DOTD staff, and industry representatives.
The event helped position Louisiana as an emerging state for innovation and represented an opportunity for the public and private sectors to discuss innovative CAV solutions. For a list of upcoming PAVE events, click here.
