Automated Vehicle Pooled Fund – Lessons Learned – State Perspectives

Panel Description:

As the AV PFS released the AV Roadmap during 2022, identifying 7 Pillars of activity related to the advancement of automated vehicles, there has been limited exposure of the roadmap publicly. This session’s panelists will speak about challenges, lessons learned, and identified efforts/needs in relation to the 7 Pillar areas identified within the AV Roadmap. The 7 Pillars are Physical & Digital Infrastructure Readiness, Operations, Interstate Freight and Multi-Modal Harmonization, Partnerships, Workforce, Communications and Engagement, and Policy. It is also planned to have a workshop discussion with active participation from the attendees, in regards to the perspected needs that need to be resolved to move automated vehicle adoption forward in an accelerated manner.
