On March 23, PAVE Europe organised a panel session at Autonomy Mobility World Expo in Paris.

Title of the session was: Autonomous Vehicles: is the game changing?

The panel session brought together a variety of experts in the field of autonomous vehicles to address the significance of national level regulation. Participants, including representatives from national ministries and safety organizations, discussed how regulation can enable the deployment of autonomous technology and transform business models. The panel also examined the importance of public perception and understanding of autonomous vehicles, as well as their potential to improve transportation through more efficient, accessible, and sustainable shared mobility and public transport systems. A key aspect of the discussion was empowering local authorities with the tools and resources needed to effectively regulate autonomous vehicles.
