PAVE members discuss public engamgent of automated vehicles at 2019 Velodyne World Safety Summit

In October 2019, PAVE members Cruise, Intel, MADD, and National Safety Council participated in a panel discussion titled “Building Trust: How Fact-Based, Hype-Free Public Information Can PAVE the Way For AVs” at the Velodyne World Safety Summit in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Hosted by PAVE member Velodyne Lidar, Inc., the World Safety Summit on Autonomous Technology provides a forum for clear public explanations and frank discussions regarding the direction of authentic autonomy while promoting consumer transparency and practices.  PAVE enjoyed the opportunity to assist with this mission by hosting the panel on building public trust and operating a booth to engage with conference attendees.
