Public opinion polls often show broad public skepticism about AV technology, and the industry grapples with the challenge of how to build public trust. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic has offered the AV sector an opportunity to assist with relief efforts — and, in doing so, has provided the public a glimpse of the possibilities offered by autonomous mobility.  Partners for Automated Vehicle Education Co-chair Kelly Nantel will discuss the challenge to earn public trust and some ways the industry can help to demonstrate how AVs can help build a safer, more mobile, and more sustainable transportation system.
