Recording Now Available: PAVE Virtual Panel – “Open Roads: AV Operations in Texas – Part 2”

Texas has become such a hub of AV trucking operations that we devoted TWO back-to-back panels to the topic.

On Feb. 29, in part one, we took a big-picture look at the factors that have drawn AV trucking operators to the Lone Star State.

In this March 6 panel, we dive deeper into this burgeoning industry in Texas, including a look at what these new technologies mean for first responders and the workforce.

This panel brings together experts from government, law enforcement, and industry to discuss why Texas has become a hub for autonomous trucking, the regulatory framework supporting this technology, and the future implications for transportation.

Panelists include: Adam Campbell, Ph.D., Senior Manager of Safety Innovation and Impact at Gatik; Captain Bart Teeter from the Texas Highway Patrol; and Zeke Reyna, Emerging Technology Portfolio Project Manager at Texas DOT.
